20 years!

Today, Jay and I are celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. We're at 07 degrees, 25 minutes north, 144 degrees, 00 minutes west and there is nothing but sky and sea out here. We'll have a delicious chocolate torte with the last of the ice cream and we'll toast with a nice glass of white wine from Jay's parents 50th anniversary.

It's a lovely sunny day and we're having a beautiful sail after emerging from the ITCZ into 10-15kn of ENE winds, couldn't be better!

This little birdie hitched a ride for the night so that he could rest.

The sailfish we tossed back, beautiful!

Congratulations on your 20th anniversary!!! You will never forget where you were on that one. It is great to watch your progress online. I daily try to calculate your distance made good. As you approach Hawaii you might key up your SSB every hour. That way we can all watch and let you know if you missed the island and need a course correction...JUST KIDDING!!!

I was in Hilo in April working with Hawaii County. The people were very friendly. There aren't any beaches in Hilo, but the black volcanic rock makes the colorful fish stand out brilliantly.

Karla and I spent much of Memorial Weekend offshore at Anacapa Island. We had a great time eating, napping and singing along with her iPod player. We have also signed contracts for a Beneteau 473 for our November BVI return. We can hardly wait.

Again...God speed friends...Larry
